Arundel Cellars & Brewing Co. will be continuing its free Sunday afternoon concert series in April. Arundel will also have one special Saturday event on April 22. All Arundel events are held beside Arundel’s beautiful fireplace at 11727 E. Main Road (Rt. 20), in North East, PA.
Erie native Doug Phillips kicks off Arundel’s April concerts on Sunday, April 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. With more than 20 years of experience, Phillips has amassed a wealth of material for his ever-growing solo acoustic act. He promises to weave soulful vocals through an assortment of more than four hundred songs by a diverse array of artists covering over sixty years of pop culture.
Then, on Sunday, April 9, Acoustic-Jukebox will debut at Arundel from 1 to 4 p.m. Erie natives Trevor Vogt, on guitar and vocals, and David Dunn on guitar, will perform a variety of music from all genres — oldies, pop, country and rock.
Look for a double-header the weekend after Easter, when two bands perform at Arundel for the first time on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Meet the Chillbillys on Saturday, April 22. The Chillbillys are an upbeat trio from Western New York comprised of local seasoned musicians Tiffany McClory (lead vocals/acoustic guitar), Bob Pfeiffer (electric guitar/vocals) and Stephanie Stanford (percussion). The trio sings a mix of soft rock, country, oldies and songs of today.
Next up is Pink Cadillac on Sunday, April 23. Band members consist of Marilyn Livosky (vocals), Jim Madden (keyboard/vocals), George Jordan (guitar/bass), Pat Ross (drums/vocals), and Ray Reade (harmonica, percussion/vocals). Pink Cadillac performs music genres including soft rock, blues, country, pop, and jazz tunes. And, yes, one of their most-requested songs is “Pink Cadillac” by Bruce Springsteen.
The ever-popular duo, Rankin & Schell, made up of Glenn Rankin and Chip Schell, will be back for an encore performance on Sunday, April 30. Come early and prepare to enjoy classic rock by artists such as James Taylor, Jim Croce, Bob Seger, The Beatles, America, The Doobie Brothers, and Simon & Garfunkel.
A variety of appetizers and lunchtime fare will be available for purchase at every event. Relax in Arundel’s renovated Civil War era barn with your favorite beverage, and unwind from the busy work week.
